✔✔✔ MASALA FRIED POTATOES ✔✔✔

HEALTHY EAT- POTATOES COOKED WITH A TOUCH OF INDIAN SPICES 






INGREDIENTS:

  • Potatoes- 1/2kg
  • Small onions- 10 no.s
  • Garlic- 3 no.s
  • Ginger- 1/4 piece
  • Red chilly powder- 3tbsp
  • Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala- 2tbsp
  • Salt- to taste
  • Oil- 5 tbsp
  • Mustard- 1/2 tbsp
  • Urad dal- 1/2tbsp
  • Curry leaves- 6/7 leaves

PREPARATION OF PASTE:
Grind Garlic, Ginger, Onions and make a paste.

METHOD:

  • Pressure cook the potatoes with little pinch of salt, for 3 whistles and keep aside.
  • In a pan, add oil , fry the potatoes and keep a side
  • Again in a separate pan, add oil , heat it
  • Add mustard, urad dal, curry leaves, 1 tbsp of grinded paste and fry.
  • Add a little water , simmer for 5 mins
  • Then add red chilly powder, coriander powder,garam masala and fry again
  • Lastly, add the fried potatoes, mix the masala well and serve hot.
 Best tastes with curd rice, chapathi/fulka.
